This piece consists of the original instant photographs taken by cloudniko, mounted and displayed together as one.
Urban Flowers is a 3 piece set of double-exposed Instant Photographs, taken on the outskirts of Manchester. I wanted to juxtapose the rigidity of the urban environment with the organic shapes of the flowers that were somehow thriving within it. I used the bold colours of the local graffiti to tie the composition together.
