Acrylic Paint on Stretched Canvas
(250x200mm)
When I painted Underthinking, I was tired and bored with my art. I went down a personal art rabbit hole in my mind and thought back to what artists had inspired me when I was at school- it didn't take long to land on Kandinsky.
I first painted another piece, and hated it- it was too Kandinsky, and yet without the precision and detail that I love in his work. Tossed that aside, loosened up and made this cloudniko style- but Kandinsky inspired- piece. It's one of my favourites.
